My Minds Eye {Find Your Wings and Fly} Shadow Box

Use a matted shadow box frame to get a professional and finished look! Personalize it with the beautiful NEW collection from My Mind's Eye called Find Your Wings and Fly by Rhonna Designs, now in stores!  Here is how I created one of my own while also adding clip so I can change out the photo anytime I want!

Shopping List:
  • Black 5"x7" matted framed shadow box (Bci-126)
  • My Minds Eye {Find Your Wings and Fly} "up & away" paper collection
  • All Night Media large and small pop dots
  • Tombow permanent tape runner
  • Tim Holtz metal mini clips
  • American Craft medium black brad
  • Masking tape
Directions:
  1. Start with opening up the back of your frame, take out the glass and wash it.
  2. Take matting off of the black frame insert. Use the matting it to trace the scrapbook paper of your choice, cut out.
  3. This will give you a new matt to go around your black insert frame. Place black frame insert inside matt and use masking tape to secure.
  4. Then cut out the paper you would like to use for the background of your photo, cut into a 5x7 then tape to the back of the insert with masking tape.
  5. Use stickers, paper and pop dots to embellish.
  6. Add the Tim Holtz clip using the brad to secure the paper clip to the paper.
  7. Add your favorite photo and place in frame.
  8. You are finished!
