Scrapbooking Blog Party: Scraplifting Challenge

Hi! My name is Elizabeth Wiederspohn and I am honored to be on the awesome Craft Warehouse 2010 Design Team. I am so excited to start this party with the first challenge! Did I mention there was a prize?

Join in the party this weekend by entering into this challenge’s giveaway! It is super easy to play along.

- My challenge is to take my layout and scraplift the idea. Yes, you heard me correctly. Scraplifting is kinda like shoplifting but instead of taking something from a store you are taking an idea and make it your own. Feel free to turn, adjust, or change the layout however you want. Here is the photo. Have Fun!

Papers and twine by My Mind's Eye, flowers punched with Retro Flower Punch, buttons by Doodlebug, lettering stickers by Doodlebug and Adornit, tickets by Pink Paislee, journaling spot by Becky Higgins.

- When finished, upload your project to your blog, click on the title of the post, copy the URL, and paste it to the Mr. Linky below or upload to the Mr. Linky directly from your computer files. (If uploading directly from your files please make sure the file is no larger than 1mb)
- Tell your blog readers that you have created your project for Craft Warehouse’s Blog Party and link it back to this post to encourage your friends to play!
- If you don’t have a blog, upload your project to Flickr. Photobucket, or another public online source.
- Upload your projects before midnight, Tuesday Pacific Standard Time. Only those in the contiguous United States may enter to win.
- The winning entries will be randomly picked by Random.org and then listed here, Wednesday, May 25th.

I look forward to seeing all your hard work!

Oh! What about that prize? The prize for this challenge is 25 different packages of scrapbooking embellishment flowers!

From Prima, Petaloo, Jolees, K and Company, Pebbles inc, American Craft, Imaginisce, and Kaiser Craft.

Textures include Felt, paper, mulberry, tissue, rhinestone, foam, burlap, acrylic, and more!

Retail value over $60.00

Have fun and good luck!

  3. Thanks! You guys are so sweet! The High School I am teaching at was throwing away a very old typewriter. I saved it from going into the dumpster to scrapbook with it. (Ok, not that old. It was from 1960.) I had to try it out on this layout. I think I might have to take a class on how to use it.

  4. Very sweet layout...I'm excited to participate in this one too, as scraplifting is one of my specialties:o). And Elizabeth, I love that you used a real, old typewriter to do your journaling (and included a few handwritten parts in there too)...way to recycle and reuse!!!
