I found your project thru Pinterest. I love the look of the frames! Would you mind sharing where you got the frames? Thanks. Megan
ReplyDeleteVery cute, I love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Megan, at Craft Warehouse. ;) We have eight stores in the Pacific Northwest, USA. You can find our website here. http://craftwarehouse.com/
ReplyDeleteI don't live by any of the stores, can I buy online?
DeleteI LOVE it!!! Just found your blog on Pinterest as well. Can't wait to read everything you have done!
ReplyDeleteK Crew, we do not have an online store at this time. But, feel free to stay updated and inspired at our Facebook page or blog... and you may never know... one day we may. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhere did you find the metal clips? I can't find them at my local craft store.
ReplyDeleteif you buy unfinished frames, like i have to since there is no store where i live, you can stain them to look like weathered barn wood. take a mayo jar or mason jar, fill with vinegar and add steel wool...let it sit for a few days and the vinegar will dissolve the steel wool and create a stain you can brush on with a foam or bristle brush....apply one coat at a time untill you get the level of grey you want, let dry between coats. works well on unfinished wood....enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWhere do I get metal sheets and metal clips? I can't find anything like this. Please respond. I want to make these so bad but I need this information first. Also, what size pictures are in the frames? Did you lose glass on the frames? This information would help so much.
ReplyDeleteThank you,
Laura
Hi Laura! These products are all available at Craft Warehouse. The frames, metal sheets, clips everything. If you are not in the Pacific Northwest I am not sure where you could get them besides checking your local craft store. Thanks for the comment and happy crafting!

DeleteWe found the metal clips at office max and the metal sheets at menards.
DeleteHi, LOVE this...any way you could tell me the brand name of the frame you used since there is not a Craft Warehouse near me? Also, what type of metal sheets did you use? I found galvanized steel at Home Depot, 28 gauge and there is no way a staple is going through that! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love these and wish you had an online store! I live in Colorado.
ReplyDeleteI called Craft warehouse and was told the frames were made by Gemline and style #909; however, it looks like they are working on the website and I'm still having trouble finding these frames! To me, the type of frame makes the project. If anyone finds them anywhere else, please share.
ReplyDeleteWhat gauge metal sheets do you use? Love this idea, wanna put it by my front door so when guests walk in they're greeted by my family!
ReplyDeleteMade these today and they look awesome!! Instead of painting metal I cut of cardboard pieces and painted them and used push pins instead of magnets! I hot glued the letter:)
ReplyDeleteHobby Lobby has similar frames!!!
ReplyDeletehow are the metal clips attached to the burlap? the magnets?
ReplyDeleteWith pioneer glue stick and e6000 glue
DeleteOMG this is such a lovely project. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Thank you, for sharing.
ReplyDeleteDon't they make a magnetic paint also... maybe instead of the metal sheets?
