My Minds Eye {Kate & Co} Oxford Lane Frame



        
This simple project takes no time at all when using an unfinished frame and the NEW Kate & Company Oxford Lane collection by My Mind's Eye! All the papers and embellishments match perfectly for a cohesive, yet trendy look!



NOW IN STORES! 




Supplies:
  • Unfinished Frame 12x12 with 4x4 opening (kid-107)
  • My Minds Eye {kate & co} Oxford Lane paper collection
  • Mod Podge glue
  • All night media small popdots
  • White acrylic paint
  • Metal flower (yor-2742)
  • Canvas Corp denim flower
  • E6000 glue
  • 2 foam brushes
Directions:
  • Paint Unfinished frame with white acrylic paint. Let dry.
  • brush a layer of Mod Podge all over the surface of your frame. Let dry.
  • Cut paper to fit the frame then glue on to frame using Mod Podge.
  • Add strips of paper to the sides of the frame using Mod Podge.
  • Glue on your denim flower and metal flower using E6000.
  • Add embellishment sticker using the small pop dots.

Welcome Project Life


We are excited to announce that Craft Warehouse will be future Project Life retailers! Project Life is a simple approch to memory keeping without scissors and glue!


Here are five reasons why we love Project Life! 


To make things even easier, all you need is the following five things to get started on your Project Life album!


1. Choose an album! There will be several to choose from! 

2. Pick a Project Life Core Kit (seven different sets to choose from) or Mini Kit (six different sets to choose from). Shown below is the Project Life Kraft Edition Core Kit.


3. Next get choose your box of page protector pockets!
4. & 5. Gather your photos and a pen and start sliding your photos and the cards that come in your Core Kit into the pockets. Jot down notes about the photos and YES, that's it! 


Project Life is due to arrive by the end of the month of May! To make sure you are first to hear about its arrival, follow us on Facebook and Instagram! Craft Warehouse Project Life 2013-2014 Design Team Call


Craft Warehouse is excited to announce a Project Life design team call for 2013-2014! Craft Warehouse is a family owned and operated independent craft retailer with locations in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. We’ve made it our mission to fill our stores with inspiring ideas and projects and we’ve staffed our stores with creative people that are passionate about crafting. We love to share inspiration with our customers when they visit our store locations, but also when they connect with us online.

Who we are looking for:  12 Project Life Artists within the contiguous United States.

1. Personal style. Has a passion for the Project Life concept. Can create original one-of-a-kind Project Life spreads while also able to explain the creative process to others.

2. Tech-savy. Has a current and up to date blog. Is either on Facebook (or Twitter), Pinterest, and Instagram. Can create a detailed blog post sharing their work in a way that inspires others. Can create a video tutorial in a professional way (not required). Able to photograph their projects clearly.

3. Responsible. Will create one blog post during the 2013-2014 design team term in a timely manner while promoting Craft Warehouse professionally through out the entire year.

4. Willingness. Able to create variations of Project Life when asked. Can create with the newest products available!

Design Team members will:

1. Receive one assignment during the 2013-2014 term. All product sent will be theirs to keep along with the pages they create. 

2. Have their name and work promoted on our website, blog, and other social media platforms.

3. Other opportunities to return as a guest designer through out the year for special events. Local artists may have opportunities to teach or do demos in our stores as needed.

2. Send a brief bio of yourself, your craft, and why you would like to represent Craft Warehouse.
