Chevron Cork Board

Shopping List

· 24”x24” black frame

· 24”x24” cork with backing

· Gray acrylic paint

· 1.5 yards assorted ribbon

· Making Memories White Alphabet Letters

· Tim Holtz Rosette Die Cut

· Tim Holtz Curio Knobs

· Paper Accents Mini Chip board pennant

· My Minds Eye “Lime Twist” paper collection

· Round Flat Gems & thumbtacks

· E-6000 Glue & Diamond Glaze

(Pioneer Glue Stick too)

Instructions

· Make a 6” square out of cardstock...cut diagonally which will give you two triangles. You will build your pattern with approximately six triangles.

· Tape triangles together...which will build a chevron pattern.

· Using a stencel brush or sponge, paint your chevron pattern with the gray acrylic paint. Set aside to dry.

· Cover the chip board pennant with the Lime Twist Paper. Adhere with Pioneer Glue

· Use your die cut five times to create your rosettes. Adhere on to paper covered chipboard. Once dry, adhere alphabet levels spelling “memo” or any word of your choice.

· Take glass gems and dab little Diamond Glaze on the back. Take scrapbook paper that’s size up, and apply (so that you can see the pattern), let dry.

· Use E-6000 and adhere thumbtacks on the back.

· Take two curio knobs and adhere onto each corner of frame using E-6000 Once dry, take your ribbon to string the decorated “memo” inspired pennant, tie to each side. Your project is complete!
