Your Best Friend Project Idea

Have you heard the quote, "Try to be the person your dog thinks you are." ?  Well, CW Gresham came up with a cute project combining that quote with canvas, embellishments, pictures, vinyl and more.  So how do you do it?  Here's a quickie breakdown.

• Paint a canvas to match your decor
• Add another canvas backed with a metal sheet for an attached magnet board.
• Place pictures of your pup around the project.
• Add vinyl wording and paw print magnets.

Vancouver "Table Runner While You Wait" was a success!

From 12-4pm this Saturday we made your table runner while you shopped! It was so much fun to see all the coordinating fabrics the customers chose.

Blog Takeover

Ready for a weekend of fun!  Make sure to check out our blog May 20th-22nd for our first ever Scrapbook Blog Party.  Hosting?  Five of the members from our 2010 Scrapbook Design Team.  So what can you expect?

• Challenges:  Create your own version of projects we'll have visuals of.
• Fun:  Interact with others who share your interest of scrapbooking, blogging and design!
• Prizes:  Some of the challenges involve blog candy.  To be entered, you'll have to participate in a challenge with a link to your blog showing off your design work that we challenge you too.

Get ready for Memorial Day

I can tell you we WILL have a Memorial Day Sale coming up!  Details shortly.  In the meantime, check out this Liberty Flag Panel from our Gresham store.

And Jen made this great pendant to wear today - using clip art, martha stewart glitter, and Ice Resin over a domino!

and then she used Jewel it! glue - coated a pair of shoes with it, and then with the same red Martha Stewart Glitter! Fabulous!

This Jewelry box was made with the Tim Holtz idea-ology curio knobs, foundation metal feet and keyholes.

Vancouver Floral is in Bloom!

I love all the displays with the lighted branches! They can go in a pot, vase, centerpiece or even be made into a chandelier! The buyers and employees have been working all day to put up inspiring ideas. They look fabulous!

Here they are adding candles and yard decor to these beautiful pots.



Lighted branches are also created to give the pots a glow.

It's hard to see in the picture, but both of these items would be great for a wedding or any celebration.
