Hey everyone! Cathy here and I just wanted to show you a quick and easy layout using a few embellishments that are a little more easy on the eyes! I really only used a few items, all in which can be found at your local Craft Warehouse! Sequins, enamel dots, skinny washi, wood chip alphas and of course, Becky Higgins Project Life Strawberry edition! I start my pages with photos that are sized 3x4 and 3x3 inches. The very first thing I do is select all the cards of my pages (eight 3x4 and four 4x6). I then create the "week #" card. With just a few sequins, you can make a not-so-interesting card look way more interesting. All without overbearing the card. A simply spelling out of the week number is a simple way to illustrate it.
I did something funky here. I am a fan of altering cards and layering them. I punch a 3 inch circle out of the journal card and layered the photos and title over it. Sequins and enamel dots are so inexpensive! I like to do the "sneeze" effect - where it looks like I just sprinkled a bunch of random bits in the corner in a splash affect. Here are my finished pages:
