Craft Warehouse Guest Design Team Call 2012-2013

Do you love scrapbooking, card making, stamping, jewelry making, paper crafts, quilting, or fiber arts?  We would love to invite you to submit photos of an original project, telling us something about it. If your project is picked, you and your artwork could be featured on the Craft Warehouse blog for our new Designer Spotlight column!

This will be our opportunity to generously display the talent of one particular artist at a time! The designer will be provided supplies donated by Craft Warehouse to create anything they wish with it. This will not just be for scrapbookers but also fiber artists, quilters, jewelry designers, stampers, and even mixed media artists!

If you would like to become a Craft Warehouse guest designer, submit photos of an original project, telling us something about it. This will give us an idea of what your blog post could look like if you were to be selected to be a guest designer. Feel free to share either a step-by-step, show and tell, or even a video tutorial. We would love to see what you have to offer!

If you would like to be featured on our blog as a guest designer, please send us the following:

1. Name, email address, blog address, and the Craft Warehouse you shop at.

2. At least 3-5 photos of a never been published before project. Only well photographed images without watermarks will be considered.

3. Anything else we should know about the project including steps, if you have them.

Email submissions to jenevans(at)craftwarehouse(dot)com with "Designer Spotlight Submission" as the subject by July 31st, 2012. We look forward to seeing what you create! *Open for US residents only, please.

    1. Of course! You would just need to be able to photograph your work well and type good tutorial instructions.

    2. Thanks. I will give it a shot. I was a published designer in cross stitch for several years, but I am loving getting back into card making and paper crafts, rubber stamp and love die cutting. I have even be doing Zentangle(TM).
Thanks for the chance and I am used to writing step by step instructions and try to get a good photo.

    3. I forgot to ask if by published you mean professionally like in a magazine, does this also include putting up a photo on flickr or another site like that.
Also I was wondering if you want more than one project to see what we can do as designers or just the one.
      Thank you,
      Dorothy Roller

    4. I forgot to ask if by being published is that like in a magazine as a professional, or does it include places like flickr or an art group well it is just a photo posted.
Also I wondered if you would want one project or a couple to get an idea of what we can do as designers. Also do you need to have this project available like a card you did for a friend and they have it and you can't get it back.

      Thank you,
      Dorothy Roller

  9. I just want to clarify, is the project we are submitting, the project that is getting posted on the blog or are we creating an entry project, then a new project for the blog?

  10. Marie, the project you are submitting will give us an idea of what you can create. It will show us your style, what kind of artist you are, and then, if chosen, we will send you product to create either something similar or not. For example, if you are a scrapbooker, we would send you product to create a layout. If you are a mixed media artist and show us your canvas skills we will send product to create something simlar to what you submit. We want a variety of different artists to showcase different products. We send the product to you, you show off what you've got! ;)
